Restorative

The Key to a Perfect Smile

The goal of our office is to give you a beautiful, healthy smile in the most conservative manner possible. If restorative work is necessary, you can expect different options and the ability to choose the option that is best suited for you.

We also work with some of the top specialists, should you need procedures such as root canal, implants, or extractions. While Dr. Holliday is a perfectionist and artist in her craft, she also believes “a good dentist knows when to refer”.

Restorative Dentistry

Crowns

A dental crown is a tooth-shaped “cap” that is placed over a tooth — to cover the tooth to restore its shape and size, strength, and improve its appearance.

Bridges

A bridge is made up of two or more crowns for the teeth on either side of the gap — these two or more anchoring teeth are called abutment teeth — and a false tooth/teeth in between.

Fillings

Dental fillings are single or combinations of metals, plastics, glass or other materials used to repair or restore teeth. One of the most popular uses of fillings is to “fill” an area of tooth that your dentist has removed due to decay – “a cavity.”

Bonding

Teeth bonding is a procedure in which a tooth-colored resin material (a durable plastic material) is applied and hardened with a special light, which ultimately “bonds” the material to the tooth to restore or improve a person’s smile.

Dentures

A denture is a removable replacement for missing teeth and surrounding tissues. Two types of dentures are available — complete and partial dentures. Complete dentures are used when all the teeth are missing, while partial dentures are used when some natural teeth remain.

Partials

A partial denture is a removable, yet natural-looking dental appliance that helps restore the form and function of your jaw by replacing one or several missing teeth.
